Gradebook Font Size Choices
Allow teachers to choose between a pre-configured set of font sizes for the gradebook. It would behave similar to picking sizes like Normal, Large, Really Large

Student Gradebook Search Option with link to gradebook
There needs to be a way to search students by name in the gradebook to figure out which gradebook(period) they are in. Currently you have to go to the main menu to look up period and then go to gradebooks and select the class.

Streamline Mass Assign Entry
Reconfigure the Mass Assign functions so that the user doesn't have to go through multiple steps (multiple pull-downs). It was better when it was a function at the bottom of the Enter Grades by Assignment screen.

On the Scores by Class view, have the ability to filter for only students who are missing assignments
Currently the Student view has a check box to only show only missing assignments. Add the same functionality to the scores by class page could be useful.

Allow teachers to print attendance seating charts for a future date and still have the attendance options show up.
I am trying on a Friday to print attendance sheets for my sub for an absence on Monday. I can print up class lists, but I can't print up anything that shows the attendance options for the sub to easily mark. This is also difficult because we have students changing classes Monday and I can't get an attendance sheet Friday to show my new classes on Monday.

Putting back the grid format (rows and columns) in the Gradebook Summary, instead of only shaded rows.
The older version of Aeries allowed for the Gradebook Summary to be printed in a uniform grid, with point values and assignment titles either at the bottom of the page or a separate page. The new version is only alternating shaded rows. The original version was much more user-friendly, especially with regard to student teaching assistants.

Gradebook - Refresh Student Summary Information
Refresh the view of the Student Summary immediately when a new score is entered, currently teacher needs to refresh the screen to see the changes.
This is specific to the Scores by Class page, as seen in the screenshot below.

iPad Focused Data Entry
The current iPad data entry for the gradebook is sufficient, but could be slightly improved. We are considering creating an iPad focused data entry dialog that would remove the need for the keyboard for the iPad. This screen would have it's own number pad or selector depending on what kind of field you're currently editing. It would have quick navigation for getting to the next student or assignment.

Gradebook Graph Dashboard
We'd like to make a really amazing dashboard for each gradebook. Take a look at the examples posted in the comment and see what our inspiration is.

Provide a user option for which Date Completed to use when entering Scores: Due Date, Today, or Other
When entering students scores for an assignment the Date Completed defaults to the due date. This of course is only a problem when students are submitting work late. It would be nice if it would either default to today's date or have an option either in the gradebook set-up or when entering scores fields.

Use one grade-book for for multiple schools/same course within a school district instead of having to start over with each school.
I am in an Independent Study program. Because Aeries will not allow me to copy a grade-book (assignments, grade weight, etc.) from one school to another within the same school district, I have to start from scratch and duplicate the entire grade-book for each school even though it is essentially the same course.
14 votesThis functionality is now available in some school configurations. Additional school configurations will be supported in 2021 Q2, ready for the 2021-2022 school year.

Enhance Keyboard Navigation in Scores By Class
When entering grades on the assignments by class page, I would like to be able to press "PageUp" and "PageDown" to scroll up and down one page at a time.
I also want to be able to use "Home" to go to the top of the spreadsheet (the first student) and "End" to go to the bottom of the spreadsheet (the last student).
Also, the arrow keys currently only scroll up and down when you get to an empty cell. The arrow keys should scroll up and down regardless of whether you have enter a grade for the student already…

Provide the ability to sort the Scores by Assignment and Scores by Student forms
Teachers should be able to sort the Scores by Assignment and Scores by Student forms by all of the column headers and have that sort be "remembered" from that point forward.

When running a report, allow an option for using color for missing assignments
The reports are only in black and white. Allow the option to have the missing assignments highlighted red when you print them out. This is so that the students can easily find their missing assignments on a report.

Create an option for standards based grading using Marzano's Power Law
What is the Power Law Formula for standards-based grading?
An internet search for “Power Law Formula” results in hundreds of listings in a wide variety of fields including astronomy, meteorology, and engineering. In his highly regarded book TRANSFORMING CLASSROOM GRADING, Robert J. Marzano describes the use of this formula for standards-based grading. The math behind the power law formula is quite complex (see below), but all that’s necessary for its use is that you know what it does, how to interpret its scores, and when best to use it.
In essence, the power law formula predicts what the student’s next…2 votes -
